The issue with sustainability is it implies we can maintain something as it is, neglecting the ultimate nemesis that is Entropy.
We always need a surplus of Energy.
Maybe circular atom economy might better… or a new term for such a thing.

Maybe GOV.UK’s CET or EU’s 2nd CEAP could create new terms.

I think I understand your point… but it is hard to argue with the energy density of splitting element 92 rather than oxidation of atoms 1 and 6, the the amount of decomm is just the building rather than pulling CO2 out of the air

I believe so, and we are about to get three new power stations on Ynys Mons too! But running on uranium fuel again… to boil water.
And in 1914 Wales produced a third of the worlds coal.
