Sadly I can't return to previous entries (Fortnite's live service) and most people are calling for a participation boycott not just a purchase boycott

yeah thats fair.

fortnite has been one of my hyperfixations since 2017, its genuinely one of the only things that hasnt changed in my life.

But like, now theyre pulling Harry Potter into shit and like, I genuinely dont know what to do.

Like, I've hated Epic Games for years but I've kept playing FN because I enjoy it and, due to the fact I bought STW founders 8 years ago I haven't dropped a dime in half a decade

It sadly means there are just more games that the TOs have to worry about to provide a service that will be even less appreciated than they already are

I think a lot of people sadly have a pretty poor mindset about tourneys that could lead to these being more a frustration than a help. There are teams that will drop after groups if they don't get into a high enough bracket that they "wanted" or something.
