Went to a jazz club and listened to an Italian jazz quartet for a few hours in Bologna tonight. Quite a therapeutic experience just listening to them jam it out and take us on a journey through all the moods. Good times. 🎷🎶

Two reasons to go see Rental Family at the movies: one, your ticket encourages studios to fund movies that aren't just sequels or remakes; and two it's really lovely seeing Japan on the big screen. Sweet film, beautifully filmed.

The Rental Family featuring Brendan Fraser was so delightful and emotional, I loved it! Even better, our entire movie theater erupted in cheers when Fraser’s character tells someone he’s from Minnesota

Udo Kier in Swan Song turned out to be one of my favorite Udo performances and is a beautiful and funny meditation on death if you’re in the market for an Udo you might not have caught.

There are some days where I think the scariest thing right now is the "status quo". This feeling that so many people rely on and need for the comfort of their existence. But for me represents this fear of change, and an inability to evolve, to grow as humanity, because we need to just stay the same.

The older I get, the more I really really appreciate time off and weekends and holidays. I think we can ALL really use this Thanksgiving holiday next week to relax and let our minds get a break from the madness of the world - for a few days at least. We all really need this...
