I'd love to think they tried to make him look as much like Chuck wrapped in Mylar as possible for this scene. I'd also like to think his bait and switch is about Jimmy snaring Saul in his own glory; nobody can bring Saul to justice but himself.

I missed this on previous watches but yeah - while we're setting up the courtroom as a James/Saul showdown we get *another* reference to twins.

Setting the Saul/James divide back up by clarifying that the only thing Saul regrets is a slip & fall in his twenties. Saul is a separate entity and one with no use for a conscience

I don't think much of the symoblism in "Waterworks" needs clarifying - although as mentioned before the show is specific about only showing rain for characters' inner sorrow.
