This week has been the first time during manual in 10 years. Being baptized by crazy switchbacks and twisties in the mountains of Spain and France in a campervan. I’m so tired 😂

I wish I had fleshed out my essay idea on my long-term belief of programming ages ago. I’ve been sitting on this feeling since 2019, and wrote this bullet point list in 2023. It feels like it’s becoming more and more true.

Maybe it’s not too late, and maybe it’ll be a video essay 🤔

Rewrote the grid system in the pinball roguelike I'm slowly working on. It's so much easier to work with now. It's making building object clusters and relative positioning way simpler.

A lot left to do, but the basic implementations of all the playfield obstacles are done.

Table flow is bad, but the feel isn't!

Now on to fixing flow, building reusable obstacle clusters and refining the grid.

Opened up the back of my oven to see if I could figure out why the door lock sensor was wonky. Found this helpful little wiring schematic!

Is this still something manufacturers include? I’ve only ever bought used appliances.
