granted, i live somewhere i felt safe to do that, but i promise you that continuing to fight and being confident in YOUR view of yourself, and not how other people view you, makes the world feel a lot less imposing.

that's how i felt for the longest time. i felt like i had to either just stay who i was or hide it indefinitely until i got somewhere safer. deciding "fuck it" and coming out to people both took a lot off my chest, and also showed me how many people actually cared about me.
