Don’t know if this has been shared here yet. My overall feelings about this is that it’s not good. Short term, people will lose their jobs. Long term, the industry will be even harder to navigate. Like David said, this has been a long time coming, and I don’t think this is the industry healing.

Just met a new volunteer at my workplace (he just started this week).
The double-take I did when he introduced himself 😬
His name is Alexis, and I am not out at work so I couldn't just say "Oh, we have the same name haha" even though that was my first instinct 💀
