One thing I am watching for in the next 16 hours: If Duke wins, does that strengthen Miami's playoff case? Pretty good chance, imo, with the committee wanting to avoid the constitutional crisis of leaving out an autonomy conference

Eliminate the playoff, a BCS +1 system is so clear
Ohio State-Indiana is by many measures among the top three Biggest Games Of All Time but the playoff has eliminated so many of the consequences of losing that I don't think it will ever feel that way
