If Albert Einstein said gravity was mostly fairy farts I'd listen, but it's a meaningless hypothetical until it happens.

That's an odd take.

Last 3 performances and results when he's not started have been better than the previous 3 when he started.

This isn't to argue it's entirely down to dropping Salah, but it's not an argument against it either
December 7, 2025 at 12:07 AM
But shitty of Salah IMO, but not unexpected, he's a generational talent, up there with Messi and Ronaldo and neither of them went quietly. They both took clubs with them as they declined.
He's a legend, but so's Kenny and I wouldn't play him either. If he's delivering fine, but he's not been.
December 6, 2025 at 11:56 PM
Not really. The most concerning part is Mo going to the papers. It's a bit shitty.
There's a lot of reasons he doesn't deserve his place, I'm glad Slot's confident enough to drop him, and he's been proven right.
Very disappointed in Mo
December 6, 2025 at 11:48 PM
The idea had to be to sell him in the summer. Though if he's going to moan about not being picked he needs to be worth the £400k a week when he's on the pitch.
December 6, 2025 at 11:36 PM
There are a number of reasons why Mo has been poor, age, grief, afcon - I'm not having competency on signing a new contract - but it's not beyond reason he should be dropped, and I'm grateful we have a manager confident enough to do it.
December 6, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Players not playing shouldn't be happy. Love Salah, but he's f*cking us off for 2 months, his priorities are not our priorities ATM, put #lfc first and we can discuss
December 6, 2025 at 11:06 PM
The PSV game looked like they were playing for him. It was childish at times, loads of effort but not coherence. Was a bit desperate, but they were definitely running
December 6, 2025 at 11:02 PM
This is not a blame the ref post; they're mostly sh!te, just a fine margins post.
We're improving, continuing to pretend we're not, because we aren't suddenly world beaters again, is a you thing.
December 6, 2025 at 10:36 PM
You've no clue
December 6, 2025 at 10:16 PM
It does sound like we convinced him to stay another year in 2024, so you have to consider that as well
December 6, 2025 at 10:06 PM
Maybe, but it's down to people, both him and Slot/Hughes, if we'd promised him he could go and the offer met conditions, we let him go, that's the deal, you act like grown ups, we're not #nufc
December 6, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Salah has been very poor this season and is about to choose country above club, despite the monumental wage or club pay him.
He's a legend, but we'd still be starting Kenny if it was down to legacy.
December 6, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Iraola is a really good manager and would be a good pick for most teams. But a massive risk of you have a proven manager
December 6, 2025 at 9:09 PM
It's an idiotic opinion, but I'd expect that from someone who can't debate without resorting to abuse. I have no interest in you.
December 6, 2025 at 8:31 PM
The idea that replacing the manager (with who?) solves this feels laughable.
We have 4-7 new players, the creativity is moving from RB to midfield and they effectively lost all of preseason plans because of the tragedy. We just suck it up until we come out the other side or turn into man u.
December 6, 2025 at 8:27 PM
You have to think past the immediate.
Diaz wanted a long term deal, we decided he had 2-3 years left in the PL, he wanted 5. And he literally said he wanted to go.
You can complain we didn't replace him but settling him was the right thing in the circumstances.
December 6, 2025 at 8:14 PM
You, thinking Klopp would come in if we sack Slot. Did you listen to a word Klopp said whilst here?
Utterly clueless.
December 6, 2025 at 8:10 PM
If you want to call for the managers head for clicks or downloads you are no better then a tabloid
December 6, 2025 at 8:07 PM
I mean, could you display less knowledge about the club and it legend
