Rafina Coffee Lounge 45 West St RG1 1TZ
This Reading Festival secret has been keeping us well fed for years.
Delicious, freshly-cooked food at this traditional 'caff' serving English breakfasts, burgers, etc.
The basics are done well at this 'Ding icon.

Caversham's lilac sky tonight at 8.45pm, 24°c and breezy.
No birds flying, not even birdsong.
I associate this with an early sign of imminent storms or heavy rains, yet none forecast...🤔

There is no economic need for any austerity or welfare cuts.

Since 2010 HMRC failed to collect between £500bn and £1,400bn of taxes

That doesn't include £bns lost due to corporations shifting profits offshore.

Indulgence of corporations/rich is cause of misery for millions.
UK governments are failing to curb corporate tax abuses and leaving people to pay the price
Governments remain obsessed with austerity and choose not to inconvenience the rich or curb tax abuses by corporations.

Politicians for Sale.

UK political parties accepted £100m in donations in 2024.

Donations are bribes made to exercise influence, subvert public choices and ensure that corporations/rich rule.

Normal people can't compete.

Can't cleanse politics without banning donations.
Tory donations twice as high as Labour’s in last part of 2024
Conservatives raised nearly £2m, Labour £1m and Reform £280,000 from donors in last three months of year
