In the sixties there was a Barnsley comedian Charlie Williams. He made it OK to tell racist jokes because he did and he was black.
Mahmood makes it OK to be cruel to people of colour because she does it and she's from a minority. She wouldn't have the job if she was white.

I think there are certain trials, fraus such as complicated fraud cases where the technical aspects make jury trials impractical.
It can be a useful buffer where an overreaching government might take control of its judiciary.

There has to be a difference between borrowing to fund tax cuts for the rich and borrowing to invest in infrastructure that will grow the economy.
