Nearly all caregiver support is provided through optional waiver programs for people who are ages 65 and older or have disabilities.

Our new KFF survey finds that all responding states (48) pay some family caregivers and provide them with short-term relief through respite care programs, allowing them to rest, travel, and attend appointments. www.kff.org/medicaid/iss...
