Back in July I had the pleasure of representing the Wessex Medical Research charity at the New Forest show, speaking with members of the public and the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire about my research!

Last week at the Faculty of Medicine conference I was thrilled to be awarded the Tim Millar prize for best oral presentation by an ECR in CES, for my talk on our controlled human infection model of Bordetella pertussis. The results have been a long time in the making and a huge team effort!
