More and more, I see people I care about choosing (consciently or not) beautiful lies over truths that could free them. #PostTruth no longer influences the #media alone — it’s shaping how we think, speak, and build relationships.

Like Russian dolls, #Monsters nest inside each other: #EdGein, his mother, the ideology that made her, the culture that mirrored his violence. Each one born of the last.

The real horror is not the dolls, but the hands of the old, patriarchal god that keeps carving them.

What makes #StrangerThings stand out isn’t only nostalgia — it’s radical sincerity. It treats the relationships and emotions people usually mock today with genuine care. Being human means looking strange sometimes — and that's a good thing.

Could be the artistic style for a (disturbing) #crpg. "A series of #drawings from an #isometric perspective, in the style of computer #games. The subject of each drawing is the main image associated with a cultural event."

Such a cool project (and title). "Ambient Mixtape 16 is a collection of original curated works surrounding a central theme: “After Hours". #indiedev #interactivefiction

Interesting how Paul Thomas Anderson revisits in #OneBattleAfterAnother, half a centur later, one of the underlying theme of Magnolia: toxic masculinity and paternity. And still intertwined with a socio-political satire, except that things have got worse (in a way).

The more I write interactive dialogues, the more it feels like level design — and vice versa. Just as dialogue is navigation through a socio-cognitive space, exploration is a form of conversation with the environment. In the end, both are about finding the best way to communicate. #gamedesign

The unexpected and symbolic sanctification of #EdGein at the end of #Monsters says something deeply unsettling about modern societies. About how a world where violence is systemic — organized, glorified, consumed, and reproduced — turns naturally monsters into saints (and martyrs).

#Avowed shines when it draws players into ethnological and metaphysical investigations. Archaeology-driven exploration is such an engaging form of gameplay — it gives #CRPG dungeon design real depth with multi-layered meaning.

One can only dream of what #Bloodlines2 could have been as a spiritual reinterpretation of #vtmb aesthetic (2000s West Coast warm and glauque urban goth), rather than the modernization, through the lens of cold-hearted capitalism, that it became.

D'un automne à l'autre, cinq ans plus tard, l'espace d'un instant entre deux averses. #Haïku.

Extended, complex, unmarked quests is one of the highlights of #Avowed. They reward careful exploration and deepen the sense of narrative agency. In my experience, games that trust players' intelligence enough to hide narrative content like that are very rare. Great #questdesign.
