NBC interviewed people in Chicago saying, “Why do we have to put up with all this smoke?!” I was born in Chicago and really resent the ignorance of such a question. Climate change, my friends. The heat this summer, the floods, the fires and smoke. Climate change.
Burning wildfires as of 8/4/25 have massive greenhouse gas emissions as part of a feedback loop.

I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia.

If you haven’t been watching what Trump is doing, he is implementing Project 2025. Pardoning Jan6 insurrectionists and firing their prosecutors; firing all high level FBI agents across the county, firing all Inspector Generals, dismantling our government. Be prepared.
We need to fight hard and we need to fight to win.
We need to bring aggressive litigation.
We need to stand in the town square and say we will be stronger than the billionaires are and call out what Trump is doing is wrong.
