I was really excited for Christmas this year and now I’m unable to attend my father-in-law’s Christmas AND I can’t go home to see my parents. I’m so fucking bummed and I wish it were January already. This was gonna be the best Christmas ever and now it’s just nothing.

On this day in 1973, "The Wicker Man" premiered in London. I saw this movie for the first time this year and didn't sleep for two days afterwards. Definitely worth a watch but only once.

Got up early so I headed over to Costco since I only had a quarter tank of gas and it's supposed to be very cold tomorrow (real ones know). Shoutout to Costco for being open at 6am, being 58¢ cheaper than the neighborhood gas station, and for just being fuckin' awesome.

Got my Christmas present to myself in the mail today: a VHS copy of "Coven" signed by the director and star of the movie, Mark Borchardt. The letter accompanying it is lovely. Mark is just a stellar human being and I'm so happy to own this!

Work has reached a boiling point for multiple reasons and I found out today that both my coworker and I are demanding 15-minute paid rest breaks starting January 2 in accordance with the new Minnesota state law requiring them.
