We officially endorse James Gunn’s new “Superman” movie!
It’s silly and sprawling but also bold and bright. A fun, hopeful film that works well in 2025. Escapism with a message. We left the theater elated.
I recommend the Krypto popcorn bowl as a souvenir, too. Went over big. Ahem.

Also, I surprised a student with a fun science project book after our lesson last night, too. He’s excited to go home and blow up his kitchen. I’m sure his mom is, too.

Swim students like when I flip them completely over in the water now.
We’ll start with their floating on their backs as I gently grab them under their necks and upper legs. Then I lift them straight up and heave them. I can’t throw these happy kids away fast enough.
