Prunella Scales, the actor best known for playing Sybil Fawlty in the classic comedy series Fawlty Towers, has died aged 93.

PRCS calls for international investigation after postmortem results add to evidence contradicting Israel’s account
Autopsies conducted on 15 Palestinian paramedics and civil emergency responders who were killed by Israeli forces in Gaza show they were were shot in the upper body with “intent to kill”, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent, which is demanding an international investigation into the attack.
The killings took place in the southern Gaza Strip on 23 March, days into a renewed Israeli offensive in the Hamas-ruled territory, and sparked international condemnation. Continue reading...

NEW: I guess we have to argue, once again, that the Holocaust was real and Nazis are bad. But flip this around; there’s also good news. Right now, those of us who hate Nazis, but love equal rights and not catching measles, are losing. But we won before. We can win again.
The re-emergence of old bad ideas such as that vaccines cause autism (they don’t!)
Other examples of things that I thought were settled but are now apparently up for debate again include same-sex marriage, protections for disabled people and the use of the “r-word.”
