Trump's election as president is merely a symptom of a broken society.
Some combinations look quite boring and predictable; I blame FIFA's corruption for increasing the number of participants.
Haiti v Brazil at Gillette next summer in FIFA World Cup play???

Wowwww... that's gonna be a scene

Let's go 🇭🇹!!!

The first World Cup I remember was the 2014 one, it was the one that excited me the most. The others, not so much. I hope this World Cup is good, but it looks like this administration wants to ruin it with their raids.

The whole field of Democratic Presidential candidates need to be vengeful. This needs to be the most aggressive field of Democratic candidates ever. Everyone should be about Reform and Justice. That’s all the debates should be about.

That would be serious indeed, regaining the House of Representatives and it still being useless to us, due to the terrible leadership.
I dunno what Hakeem Jeffries is trending here for but I’m sure it’s because he was being a shitbag. Again. So lemme say it just to say it:

Any electoral gains Dems make in next couple years won’t matter a good goddamn if this party’s leadership is still in place. Tell your reps to speak the fuck up

I like both, I'm pragmatic here, supporting whoever has better options.
I'm personally 100% in for James Talarico, but I can't help but shake my head at the sad folks who are downplaying Rep. Jasmine Crockett's chances. She's brilliant, a great communicator, and has wide support among the Dem base in Texas. Underestimate at her at your own peril.

This timing makes a lot more sense now, doesn’t it?

Adm. Alvin Holsey resigned in October as commander of U.S. Southern Command right after flagging concerns about those U.S. military strikes on “suspected” drug boats in the Caribbean.

He served for 37 years.

Current US Policy:

If you’re suspected of trafficking a small amount of drugs with no evidence, we will murder you, but if you’re convicted of trafficking an enormous amount of drugs with copious evidence, we will pardon you. Because we are currently a very stupid country.

There is a huge gap between voters in wealthy countries who want politicians to focus on domestic issues, and those same politicians whose actions destabilize poorer countries, worsening living conditions and triggering migration crises. It’s like a dog cutting off its own tail.
Median Western voter:

(a) I do not care at all if our policies destabilize a country in the developing world

(b) I do not want to see any money spent or soldiers sent to stop any country from destabilizing

(c) I do not want one refugee fleeing the destabilized country to ever move here ever

TN07 is a story about gerrymandering: the GOP cracked Nashville into 3 districts when it redrew the 2022 map, destroying the Dem seat there.

Fast-forward: a section of Nashville, which just 5 years ago had a Dem representative, is now voting Dem by huge margins but it's been designed to not matter.

Trump is illegally attacking boats allegedly carrying drugs. He brags about being tough on drug dealers.

Meanwhile, he pardons the former Honduran president — a man convicted in American court of bringing hundreds of tons of cocaine to the U.S.

You can’t make this stuff up.

nashville is around the 21st biggest city in the US, is roughly 2/3rds democrat, and has no representation in Congress because of gerrymandering.

It's split in 3.

today if you live in the special zone split for partisan reasons (like me), vote for AFTYN BEHN

make them gerrymander again!

Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.

Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.

And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.

Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.

It's a power grab.

The 'War On Drugs' was a total failure. Perhaps it was never intended to succeed in the way we hoped. Private prisons, banks, and cartels profited while the rest of society...

The GOP nor the Dems can "stop the flow" without curing America's many addictions first.

The Trump administration's strikes in Venezuela were ordered without Congress, without transparency, and without any justification to the public. These actions are reckless, unconstitutional, and dangerous for our national security.

They will allow all possible corruption, they will look the other way as long as the people they hate are not in power.
Republicans, however much corruption are you going to allow?

How many laws can Trump break without you doing something?

When does America become your priority?

Not to mention the disproportionate influence a foreign country has on our politicians, much more than even the American people themselves, whose concerns take a back seat.
The reason why I detest AIPAC is that they convinced the world that any mention of Netanyahu or Genocide is antisemitic . They have decided that any dissent about murdering Palestinians is antisemitic.

It is not antisemitic to want a country to stop killing children or wanting Netanyahu arrested.

Former President of Honduras who’s serving 45 years in prison for drug trafficking?

He gets a full presidential pardon.

Both are Honduran. Only one is a criminal.

There needs to be legislation limiting how many adds there are in these subscription services. Either people pay for the service and there aren’t any adds, or the service is free with adds. This subscription BS has gone too far.
