10/10/2025: #RoyLeeWard was executed by lethal injection for the murder of Stacy Payne. This is the state's 2nd and the nation's 35th execution this year alone.

Roy Lee Ward's final words were, "Brian is going to read them." No media were present in the witness room.

09/10/2025: Robert Roberson's execution has been halted by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

His team filed a Notice of New Evidence, highlighting judicial misconduct. Judge Bascom Bentley's misconduct "prejudiced Mr Roberson's guilt" and "caused structural error".

30/09/2025: Victor Jones was executed by lethal injection in Florida, becoming the 13th inmate put to death in the state this year. He was convicted of the murders of Matilda and Jacob Nestor.

17/09/2025: #DavidPittman has been executed by way of lethal injection in Florida, making him the state's 12th execution this year. His last words were, "I know you all came to watch an innocent man be murdered by the state of Florida. I am innocent. I didn’t kill anybody. That’s it."

29/09/2025: The Utah Supreme Court ruled in favour of Ralph Menzies, who was scheduled to be executed on Friday 5th September. Ralph Menzies now has the chance for a competency evaluation to address the concerns over his dementia.

He is the state's first execution this year.

His case raised several issues, including PTSD, the state's 3-drug execution protocol, and the state's history of botched executions.
