The calls from America this weekend to "abolish the EU" are for one simple reason: the EU is the only thing that can keep European nation-states from becoming Russian or American vassals.
The US has declared rhetorical war on the EU
The calls from America this weekend to destroy the EU are revealing. They hate the union because it's the only thing that can keep European countries from being Russian or American vassals.

It’s pretty bad when the only person praising your military doctrine is Vladimir Putin.

Let’s impeach this fascist dictator before it’s too late for American democracy!

Orban is, of course, not telling the truth here - the Commission’s decision does not affect "what we can read and say". BTW Hungary (like every EU Member State) voted for the Digital Services Act.
Twitter in the past 48 hours has been like watching a remedial version of SPECTRE convene a meeting in real time.

#Epstein helped the rich to avoid taxes.

And added pretty girls.

He’s exactly the asshole that he was thought to be.

Like the French husband who invited men to abuse his wife.

Some say it is illegal to arrest a sitting president. It is not. The president is subject to the law like everyone. That none have been arrested in the U.S. is only a policy internal to the DOJ based on the need for continuity of government operations--a policy that never imagined a criminal POTUS.

Seen a lot of comments about Reform voters not caring what Farage said at school, which is probably true.

But you've also got to consider people who aren't going to vote Reform but you want to turnout or vote tactically against them.

Grid bottlenecks aren’t a failure of the energy transition — they’re proof it’s working.

Renewables got cheap fast, and now the grid has to catch up. Time to build the wires for the clean energy system we already have.

Just a comment. Trump blames Ukraine for its actions against Russia. I’d like to put it to him… if somebody attacks your wife, kids, threatens to take your property & your country - what would you do? Of course the priorities also work in reverse.
