In this case, I would search for an American biscuit recipe that might have keywords like "southern" or "comfort food" and see if you can find one with weighted ingredients to make up for the diff in measuring.

He is both stupid and cunning. In the past, that's made him much more dangerous than someone smart and calculating, but I think the stupid might be catching up.

Yes, it's terrifying. My only hope - and it's a slim one - is a world in which a supermajority cancels these contracts, disbands ICE, and holds hearings over financial malfeasance & abuse of taxpayer funds.

Oh unless you mean the tech oligarchs, and I'm not sure they will enjoy the same freedom from consequences post-Trump, but this is where I agree with you - they're still definitely a threat to all of us.

I don't disagree with you, but they hold power while being massively unpopular (not even winning 50% last year) because we have a geriatric democracy that doesn't allow for recalls or no-confidence votes the way other systems do. That can be good in certain situations! But it's bad in this one.
