Honestly given the oppression documented in that society in the first two films, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there’s been an animal holocaust in that world. Maybe that’s what happened to the birds who will be in the third film?

Yes, I want a taste review. Hard to imagine matcha will improve the taste much.

Would it be a stretch to just say that Will in particular decided to change his hairstyle? It would actually fit with his story too!

Legion continuity/history doesn’t always make a lot of sense but it’s kind of odd that Batman has so little presence as an inspiration. You’d think they would have introduced a new Batman just to boost sales at one point.

I honestly thought this was a made-up satire of a prehistoric animal until I looked it up.

I kind of miss this earlier version of Betty who was almost insane in her lust for Archie.

I’m going broke buying these things for my son because he finds my Switch 2 “too bulky”

Parts of Rogue One are terrific but you can really see the parts (especially in the first half) that Tony Gilroy’s reshoots couldn’t save.

Biden offered a boring stable government and voters rebelled. What we really need is a president who has Trump’s spontaneity and charisma (only to some, of course) but is actually a decent person.

Not defending Trump here but Polk died months after leaving office at 53, partly from ruining his health during his presidency. Perhaps some middle ground between these extremes is best?

Tons of blue state people have moved to Florida and it’s moved from purple to red.

This must be the 80s cartoon that has inspired the least nostalgia as this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this show (and it even sounds like something I would have liked as a kid).

The lack of detail on Bram’s character in the later books may be the series’ fatal flaw. I think Martin realized Bram’s ending was weak and not earned on-screen and he can’t make it work in book form.

You can often tell which films the MST3K folks had fun with versus ones they thought were boring/weird and this is in the “fun” category. They even say in the MST3K book that they thought this was “pretty good.”

Kudus to Mamdani for understanding that Trump’s desire for views/attention outweighs any ideological objection he has to Mamdani.

You had to have an incredible beauty because what sensible guy would be tempted away from Julie Andrews? Still a stretch as it is.

For a fairly bland character (except for his MCU version who seems like a totally different person), Bed Leeds has a pretty wild history.

She didn’t just disappear - her character died in a plane crash in the last season!

Hard to top the NYT profile on 831 for eye-rolling content but this piece rivals it!

Sometimes when I’m volunteering at a food bank and I’m tempted to take some extra food home with me I remember, “We’re not doing this because we’re greedy, the Bears are doing this to feed the needy” and leave it alone.

The most ridiculous thing is that the Amazon and Goodreads reviews for most recent Harlequin books are better (often a lot better) than the reviews for these 831 books. All that style and promotion and they couldn’t even come up with solid books.

I wish there was a scene with the real grandma filming at the end where she proclaims her hatred for basketball and demands the AI incorporate that.

I still think of Jennifer Aniston as the daughter of the actor who played Victor on Days of Our Lives (R.I.P. John Aniston)
