Good luck! We went to Iceland two months ago and had zero issues on the return.

It's delightful!

Idk who needs to see this.

But the quicker we can get the House to come back in DC. The better.

Don't let up!!

I remember years ago being in a meeting, kicking off a project, and the leader kept saying, we don't have enough time, we can't do it. Finally I started suggesting we work backwards from the deadline to see what was possible. It was tight--but doable. We did it. Positivity counts.

Also, George Saunders. Could be a good reading year if nothing else.

She's a preorder, pick-up-on-day-of-publication author for me. Which I told her the one time I got to meet her, and she leaped out of her chair and hugged me.

So, in some good news, it appears that Lauren Groff, Ann Patchett, and Elizabeth Strout all have new books out in 2026.

It's a shame that he'll be snubbed at the Oscars, because Indy the dog gives a stellar performance in Good Boy.

Now this is proper October weather.

😅IIRC, there was also a tie-in to getting a rebate for our kids' college funds from Pontiac at the time, which was what sold it to us.

Ah, OK. The style ended up part of the problem--the back hatch had a solid bar horizontally running through it, exactly where I needed to see when backing up. It was actually a little dangerous.

I had one. Didn't love it.

Not loving the nearly 99 degrees in MN in October, but if that's what's happening, make lemonade.

I wish. We were too late on getting tickets.

Yup. TBH, I'm not a big fan of Colbert's interviews either; he doesn't seem very natural to me. I'm mostly in for the monologues.

He's pretty much the only one I never watch. How much I watch the others vary, but Fallon--no.

I can't think of a pharmacy I'd have less trust in than one with his name on it.

Yeah, after my interactions with her staff, I had to wonder if the rumors were true. Staff at then-Franken's office and now Smith's office were much more professional.

I didn't support her bid because I've had multiple negative experiences with her office. I mean, obvs would have voted for her if she'd been the candidate. But not supporting her in a primary, and I think she's planning on running in 2028.

@amyklobuchar.com is too busy being bipartisan to care about those of us who voted for her and are now about to be labeled domestic terrorists.

There's no legit source for this, just social media.
