I wish the nightmare can be replaced with a dream of our siblings in the region, our friends in the world helping Palestinians any way they can and amplifying the voices of justice to withstand peace against all the unspeakability of silence.

Palestinian solitary existence manifests in the global imaginary, and yet some can still sleep at night when the darkness surrounds us.

There is no logic that can explain that to me and I cannot fathom my place in the world watching a land and its people evaporate in this carnage to bear witness to it, to the total destruction of every aspect of life being met with solitude, with abandonment.

Palestinians and especially those in Gaza personify sumud. But how much genocide and ethnic cleansing sumud can endure?
