If you want to revive the residential market restrict multiple home ownership (one per adult), limit purchases to UK residents, and make Commercial residential landlords non-profit (CIC, companies limited by guarantee, etc). Scrap leasehold and replace with commonhold

Did you know that the NHS automatically infers recovery for people with LongCOVID if they don’t return to see their GP within 6-months of a diagnosis/referral appointment. Why would you go back to your GP when you’re told “there is nothing we can do for you”?

Folks, if you use AI almost anywhere in the lab, it needs to be validated. QMS, data processing, as a decision tool, reporting, opinions & interpretations. And as you can’t ‘cherry-pick’ a report for an accredited test, it can’t be applied post-hoc without being validated either.

NHS management and UKAS are blind to the fact that at least half of specialist CE-IVD tests in-use are only fit for monitoring after diagnosis, not for the initial diagnosis.
It shows up in a postcode lottery of diagnosis rates, the output of which feeds directly into policy

The UK chronically under-claimed funding (in all areas) because of Whitehall’s extremely conservative interpretation of the ‘rules’ and party politics (one neighbourhood constituency boundary change was blocked to avoid a Tory stronghold in the SE being classed as as deprived as the Welsh Valleys).

Pre-BREXIT, councils were restricted by Whitehall interpretation of EU (e.g., ESF funding). UK implementation required individual Adult education funding (I.e., the same individual has to progress from GCSE to PhD equivalent qualifications), while other EU countries worked on a cohort basis.

70 years on from Royal Free and zero progress on treatments. In the UK, ME/CFS has the third highest economic impact of any disease (surpassed only by CVD and diabetes). Conservative (pre-COVID) estimates put the cost at 2-3x lung cancer. And the impact’s proportionally higher in working-age people.

Robust statistical studies show 10%+ of existing UK convictions are wrongful. The deportation of British Citizens, and those with ILR, is inevitable. A latter day AktionT4 for the homeless, those with learning difficulties, and elderly people with dementia who lack an advocate.
