Another handmade object: I’ve crafted the Dance Macabre Candle drawing inspiration from medieval memento mori iconography and reimagined it in a sculptural puzzle form. It is hand-assembled from individual paraffin cubes that feature public domain illustrations. #galleriaobscura #handcraft

Candela holder draws inspiration from the Orthodox tradition of votive candles before sacred icons. You can give it your own significance and I can certainly bring it into Christmas tradition. It can rest on the table or it can be put on a wall. #galleriaobscura #handcrafted #Christmas

Yesterday we commemorated our dead, with a dinner for friends. I made a Moroccan charred peppers and anchovies salad for starter, Fatima’s fish tagine for main dish, and my grandma’s pumpkin pie for desert (together with my girl ❤️). There wasn’t much time for pictures. May they all rest in peace 🪔🙏🏻
