So here's the thing, i think you got the correlation backwards here.

I am pretty sure they went after mare is because they were planning to remove the restrictions. I have no way of proving this, but unlocking all glamour is something that still takes time to do and they did it quickly.

Tesla is mareted as a tech company. It is painfully overvalued, but because the cars are "electric" the people who do buy shares in it think they are buying tech shares.

But Tesla alone does show how utterly meaningless the stock market actually is, because hype can beat actual value.

Pretty sure primitive AI has been used to do that for decades. Also we have basic algorithms that can help alliviate congestion and determine how long each direction should be green for.

Using GenAI for this would be a disaster because it notoriously bad at maths

This feels like the person who made the Mega Lopunny design just went full face into their design crack with no oversight.

I still hold my beleif that DT's biggest problem is that EW completely shat the bed in its post game with repeatable content.

And because people are really bad a segregation feelings, their frustration with a lack of things to do, made them angry at what is arguably still one of the better stories.

People are so underpaid the economy is dying, let's blame the underpaid workers.

Seriously how do major news keep failing at econ 101 with these headlines.

Oh right i forgot the FF7 community is absolutely rabid and should not be interacted with without protection.

It is by all metrics one of the 3 best games released in 2025, Expidition 33, Hades 2 and Silksong. The order is very much personal taste.

It is however hard as balls and does require that you are willing to bash your head against a lot of challenges.

But it is so cheap might be worth just to try.

i involuntarily exclaimed "holy shit" when i saw that, damn it looks good.
November 28, 2025 at 12:18 AM
Small correction, it is literally the same 3 people who worked on both.

But yeah they had access to more and part of the problem is that Silksong got designed as a DLC from the beginning i think, which means it is also tuned as if people just finished Hollow Knight rather than a sequel.

Yeah i get it, if it is any consolation, i personally feel like it is only act 1 that truly suffers from bad difficulty tuning.

Especially the second layer is poorly laid out as Greymoor is the most difficult area on that layer, but likely the area most people experience first.
November 25, 2025 at 10:47 PM
So here's the thing, i don't think they could catch the issue with the small team they have. The difficulty is not that big of an issue once you have actually learned the fights, which is means they needed some unexperienced testers, which i don't think they had access to.
November 25, 2025 at 10:21 PM
The thing is that the difficulty isn't actually that spiky on an absolute scale, like looking back i don't think the game ever got too difficult, but at the moment it was a massive relative spike. Like going from 4 to 6 when 20 is max. only 2 up, but also 50%

(but also fuck Greymoor)

I do believe it is the sugar giving quick energy to the immune system.

Mechabellum and Into The Breach are worth looking at then

The story i was told, it was the immediate cultural shift from everyone.

I think this person was talking about a bookstore with GoT pencilcases and pencils that went from selling to not basically overnight.
November 21, 2025 at 12:38 PM
It is hard to explain how bad it was. I read stories about how shops with GoT merch went from selling GoT merch in bucketloads to no one touching it.

It is still to this day the wildest cultural shift i know of.
