First time I’ve ever had a problem with setup.

Also, EV9 and orange iPhone? Either we both have good taste or we are having the same midlife crisis 😂

Did you have any problems with setup? I get “verification failed - an unknown error occurred” when entering my correct Apple ID/account. I spoke with an Apple specialist and apparently lots of people in the UK are experiencing it. It’s a server issue they’re working to resolve. Maybe worth a story?

Overall, despite the 3-0 result there’s some promising (very) young players. Worth remembering that Chambers, Chadwick and Gray are with the first team too but some older reinforcements before the season would be helpful to fill the gap so we don’t have too many 17-18 year olds in the 21s. #lufc

7. Howson initially came on in midfield but dropped to CB after Hamilton’s injury. You could see how his composure will help the young players around him and he was vocal and clearly guiding some players through the game. Seems like a smart signing and his vast experience will undoubtedly help.

5. The two new signings from Man City and Liverpool look raw but have potential. Enahoro-Marcus is a giant for 18.

6. Josh Hamilton came on at centre-back and although he came off injured he impressed for a 17 year old. Reminds me a bit of Dean Huijsen. Lanky but calm and good on the ball.

3. Greenwood only shone when exchanging passes with the two above. Some surging runs but no end product.

4. Oliver Pickles looks like a real talent. Central midfielder who - at 17 - seems very comfortable on the ball and mixed it well with the three above. No problems up against seasoned pros.

1. Joffy was a level above everyone. Looked sharp and skilful just lacks pace to be someone worth keeping to come off the bench in the PL. missed the best #lufc chance of the game after 1-2 with PB.

2. Bamford decent but clearly not pushing himself in 45 mins. Got a few chants from the away fans.
