I am trying to be careful with wording here because I feel like if we were discussing this on a call/in-person, we'd mostly agree.

But when you phrase it like that, it seems like what happened is a result of the funding getting pulled regardless of what triggered it.

But seems like a false equivalence. It doesn't talk about anything related to the issue in the episode and instead is about something unrelated (imo) which is calls for DHH to step down.

If there are specific quotes or incidents, cite them directly rather than gesturing broadly at 'Xitter posts.'

We wanted to stick to what’s confirmed (timeline and governance issues), not speculation on motives. The goal wasn’t to dodge, just to keep it useful.

Ruby community: Look, we can be angry about what's happening, we can raise our complaints, but under no circumstances should anyone _ever_ harass someone's families, coworkers, or friends.

That is completely unacceptable, and wholly against the ethos of the language. We must do better.
