I hate those mechanics in general for the protagonist dying, it’s game over for the whole party.

I couldn’t resist with all the talk and great reviews.
It’s really fun so far but it is a bit rough around the edges visually and performance wise.

I just don’t like games going into the back burner or having a huge backlog. I like to finish a game before moving onto the next.

I played with the battle music on random which made all the difference. Still me of my favorites in recent years for the combat system and just PS1 nostalgia.

They fixed the frame rate issue in the remaster I believe. That was one of the biggest complaints.

They are both amazing but I prefer Cross. Just the music, art style, character recruitment, etc. all so good!
