Paul Revere was an alarmist.
We are not at war with Venezuela.

Only Congress can declare war.

Hey, that's what I had. But now the pie is gone and I am a little sad.

Hard to believe Roger Wicker is not lying here.

So the Bezos Post has an article for people new to farting. Alrighty then.

Narrator: The Republican will not follow through.

Republicans don't do oversight of Republican presidents.

A most excellent flick!

It's not just Trump, it's the Republicans and their propaganda networks. They support and enable all of which you speak.

I find it odd that so many people seem to think killing the other people in the boat was not murder, unless the survived and were then killed? What...?

It's all murder

I searched on "wsj gift link" and it worked wonders.

We have had a lot of "wake-up calls."

The military officers did not, in fact, honor their oath that we were told prevented them from following illegal orders.
November 29, 2025 at 2:46 PM
Also when the others on the jiat were killed.
November 29, 2025 at 2:09 PM
Also, the military officers who carried out his illegal orders, despite their much vaunted oath and honor.

Just sharing another example from today of how blocking people for expressing different views shits down informed debate.

I went back to see how he was handling this news. Blocked. I don't even recall his name.

Days ago, this guy blocked me for disagreeing on the military following illegal orders. Too bad, I was curious on his take.

Today a Bezos Post story proves my point that the oaths as defense of law, in reality, are a myth. Military brass almost never honor that oath.

bsky.app/profile/andy...
Thanks. I read your piece. To me it is another case of the theoretical ("look at these oaths on paper") versus the sad reality (politicized and heavily Republican officer corps being purged by Trump).

Many debates come down to this divide. So, it gives me less confidence in the military.
November 28, 2025 at 8:07 PM
NOTE: The military failed to honor their famous oath to uphold the constitution and law when they followed illegal orders and murdered those men.

That's the reality. The oath as defense against lawbreaking is a myth.

bsky.app/profile/andy...
The people who carried out the illegal and murderous orders are those famous commanders and rank and file who took those oaths that, we're told, mean they never follow illegal orders.

Those oaths mean nothing. It's complete B.S. and the romanticizing the military is deadly.
November 28, 2025 at 7:55 PM
Let's not lose site of the fact that military officers who took the oath to uphold the law violated their oath by murdering those people. Reality wins over theory, again.

The military brass seldom honor that oath. Time to stop romanticizing and hero worshipping them.

Remember how the military took oaths to follow the law so, therefore, nothing illegal happens?

Yeah, well, that's a lie, or delusion, or magic thinking.

This country needs a long and deep conversation on the practices of collective blame / punishment.

Across the political spectrum collective blame of identity groups is fashionable. This is the reality of identity politics.
