please take in count that this image is being finished in 1 single layer tho, so there is a point when I don’t apply different colored layers

uhhhhh interesting i’ll check

absolutely that’s what I’m going to do cause it’s the most logical thing for someone like me
angiewolf.bsky.social
same, I’m not feeling like coming back to the next 2 fights to continue with the story, they feel like a torture
angiewolf.bsky.social
thank you, that’s exactly what I mean 😭

made for HK hardcore players only, HK had the option of finishing the game without being tooooooo difficult and then having optional hardcore areas, Silksong? only hardcore.

cost for some benches without unblocking them feels incredibly punishing and unnecessary, and they’re TOO far away, i could continue with all these things, I would’ve loved just being told clearly that silksong, from the beginning, is more difficult no matter what than HK. cause it looks like it’s-

they never release tension on the player (Hollow knight did this and that’s why it was more enjoyable), many bosses feel recycled, some characters appear from nowhere without any lore (this NEVER happened in HK), the run up to the act 1 boss is literally a brutal parkour course, adding a 15 coins-

I really like the amount of interaction I’m having in this post, and I’ll correct myself cause my redaction was not clear enough to show my point: it’s unplayable at certain point for someone that has been playing HK expecting something similar, the difficulty on small enemies is excessive-

oh, completely agreed, as i’ve mentioned in a different comment, I should’ve added context to that word, it’s unplayable at certain point from my experience as a casual (not so casual) HK player; I would still love to be able to play it without feeling like i’m in an infinite pantheon

absolutely, If it would be added on the description of the game, or something! “this is hardcore mode only” or that it’s more challenging than hollow knight, okay! I’m buying something consciously, but it’s not the case…

it’s an understandable take honestly, I hate wasting 3hiurs for a boss, it’s so stupid
angiewolf.bsky.social
I tried to debate and it can be seen in my “replies” area on my profile, and i came with an objective valid proof of my real issue, almost 40.000 bad reviews on steam after less than a week from the release of the game

Silksong feels like it’s been developed for the hardcore Hollow knight players ONLY.

the irony here is that I have already being told here in this tweet an “skill issue” player, not really a hardcore skill issue, just skill issue as a whole thing, okay then how’s possible that I finished hollow knight a couple of times and even enjoyed it meanwhile? this is my point
angiewolf.bsky.social
this is exactly what I need as a player and as someone that finished hollow knight a couple of times I can’t consider myself a casual player and this second part of the game is still very frustrating for me
