twt voted that i should work on #sukuita amnesia au today so here's a new WIP snippet from part 2 featuring a surprise guest
TEXT: The dream gets weirder when he wakes up again. “What do you mean I can’t be here?” a deep voice asks, sounding a bit frantic. “I am his big brother!” Had someone else been admitted to the infirmary while Yuuji was out? He fights through the remains of the sedative to open his eyes. His is still the only occupied bed in the room, but now there are more visitors. Including a tall man with dark shaggy hair and a tattoo across his nose whose hands are clenched in the fabric of Sukuna’s haori as he glares up at the beast. His eyes catch Yuuji’s when they flick over Sukuna’s shoulder and widen with relief. “Otouto,” he breathes, scrambling around Sukuna to kneel at Yuuji’s bedside. “Uhh.” Yuuji leans away, quickly glancing around the room for anyone who can give him an explanation.

TEXT: Sukuna maneuvers them through the door to their building with relative ease, a fact that Gojo takes great offense to. “Do I even weigh anything to you?” he huffs. “With these string-bean limbs of yours?” Sukuna chuckles, digging his fingers into the meat of Gojo’s lean but muscular thighs. “Hardly.” Gojo retaliates by nipping at his ear like a sullen puppy. “We can’t all be built like Greek gods,” he whines. Sukuna elects to ignore that comment. He also does his best to ignore the heat sparking through his stomach after having his ear bitten. A cold shower is in order after he gets his stupid roommate to bed.

He doesn’t need to hype it up; the link is its own advertisement. Toji opens it as soon as he gets it. Not that he’s in any particular rush, but he understands the exchange rate between time and money very well. Suku’s time is very expensive, and Toji is going to get his money’s worth. It’s definitely worth it when the channel loads and his screen is filled with tan skin, a smirking mouth, and /dark/ hair. He lets out a low appreciative sound. Suku’s natural color is a lovely shade of red, but sometimes he dyes it black or wears a wig at his whim. It makes him look younger, more boyish. Slightly less of a delinquent. It’s Toji’s favorite look on him.

He opens his eyes to meet Yuuji’s disinterestedly. “You know by now I will accept whatever punishment you see fit to dole out, but it is pointless to hope it will change anything else.” It pisses her off that she agrees with him on something. “On your knees, bitch,” she orders before Yuuji can respond with what was sure to be nausea-inducing sweetness at best, or sanctimonious bullshit at worst. It’s a reminder to him as much as it’s a command to Sukuna, that he came down here with her for /her/ stress relief and he should follow her lead, no matter his own desires. They’ll be sated anyway.

happy yaoi day and happy anniversary to #sukuita amnesia au fic! in honor of those, here's a snippet of part 2! i was hoping to have this done for today but i've only just started to get through the block that plagued me all of july. wish me luck for august!
TEXT: And his cursed energy is so weird now. There’s so /much/ of it. If he thinks too hard about it, it starts to surge. Otherwise his body seems to remember how to keep it under wraps. Innate. Like breathing. Gojo-sensei had once told him it would get easier as he learned sorcery, that one day he might even be able to use a cursed technique, but it’s different actually /feeling/ it at his fingertips. “/Yuuji/.” Sukuna’s warning comes too late. Or, well, has the opposite of the intended effect. Hearing the curse use his given name instead of a disparaging epithet startles him into releasing a wild pulse of cursed energy. The technique engraved into his body—/Sukuna’s/ technique—slashes out from him, destroying the wall on the other side of the door.
