Everyone’s wondering if or when this charming city might be invaded by masked bozos but in the meantime take a look at the dahlias and zinnias my neighbor planted on her corner

I spent the winter reporting on the past/future of Confined Disposal Facilities across the Great Lakes: We've added 4k acres of 'new land' to our lakeshores. What/how we dredge, and what types of wildlife springs up in these lakeside bathtubs—such a pleasure to work with @azuremagazine.bsky.social

It’s the end of the semester. Critique week is here. I have two deadlines. Finding sources has been a struggle this year. However the pigeons who have been nesting in my house’s air shaft enjoy pressing their butts against the glass block so there’s that

Not QSing this because the bros are 4th grade bullies but I’ve had 7 TAs and they we mentors to my students and allies in the classroom. An app can’t replicate or replace that. A TA bot is no more an educator than a Twitter bot

I’m in the recent Dwell print issue with a story about the Mt. Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School, which is being transformed into a cultural center by the Saginaw-Chippewa tribe of Michigan. It’s one of those stories that changed me, and I hope it resonates with you, too
