In today's care-for-others thread:

Components have arrived for the snack kits! A few notes on assembly.

They come together pretty easily but if you have manual dexterity challenges (as I do), you might need help.

I've had surgery on my left thumb & I cut my left hand last week.

Here's my lasagna. It looks pretty good. It needs to rest before I cut it. Smells awesome.

Decadent bread pudding. I'm eating it topped with a little coconut ice cream. It's sooo good. Rich, just sweet enough, nutty, cinnamon-y, and spiced with cranberry goodness. 10/10, perfect autumn treat

Anyway, spite roses aside, we did some gardening today and it looks great.

I remember being lectured by an old lady at church one time about how difficult it is to grow roses.

In my experience, it's difficult to kill the bastards.

When we moved in here, we tried to dig up one bush, though we succeeded. We cut the other two down to nubbins.

And...

SPITE ROSES LIVE.

I guess it's the sick yellow hat that makes people believe in Eliezer Yudkowsky as an online philosopher.(?)

Anyway, this person wrote the Sequences and kinda inspired the current techno-cult.
