2024 was a great year for me, here are some of my favorite moments connecting with nature.

Color nude self portrait panorama, in the redwoods of northern CA

I watched this ocean motion for several minutes, then chose my spot and shot 0.5 second exposures so I had to hold still.

Thunder cove - the morning light entered the cove behind this arch and I had to be right in the middle of it!

A rare good sunset at Crater Lake, and after a short walk I got to one of my favorite spots for some solitude.

My local gallery is having an exhibit titled "Fire and Smoke" which reminds me of a series of self portrait photos I did back in 2019 that I titled "Life After Death".

I'm nude in a burned out forest, standing on a blackened trunk, painting my body with charcoal from the burned trees. It was so much fun I went back a second day and did it again. What a mess though!

My posts are pretty random...a fleeting thought/moment that reminds me of a pic I did at one time. Today I'll post something relating to Fire & Smoke - local gallery is having that theme, I was there yesterday & it reminded me of my self portraits in the burned a forest. Or shoot new content.
