I'm pretty sure we still do in MN. Been a few years since I've done so, but you choose the option, someone on the loudspeaker says "go ahead on five" or whatever, then you pump & go in after.

I grew up 5 miles away in Buffalo. We did call it Monti 🤷‍♀️
