Just met Pedro Pascal. He's shooting a movie a block away from our house. They shoot movies here often so we see a lot of famous people but I never get star struck like I did today. He's like 10 times as good looking in person as he is in the movies and he took a picture with us. He smells amazing.

Which is it man because you can’t say ‘be more normal’ back-to-back with ‘be less judgmental’ without a hint of irony because that’s just positioning yourself as cultural authority & then demanding the type of grace that by virtue of your immediately preceding statement you refuse to extend to us
California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that the Democratic Party needed to be “more culturally normal” and “less judgmental.”

see the thing about them all being the worst people in the world is that even when one of them gets killed they can't create a proper cult of martyrdom around him because the others get jealous he's getting all the attention.

Discworld QOTD, from Night Watch

“He didn’t look around, and watch and learn, and then say, ‘This is how people are, how do we deal with it?’ No, he sat and thought: ‘This is how the people ought to be, how can we change them?’ And that was a good enough thought for a priest but not for a copper…”

This has always come as a bit of a surprise to many demons, who had always thought that hell was sticking sharp things into people and pushing them into lakes of blood and so on."

Was creating the BOM new website a side quest?
I would love an answer to this question, I want a detailed breakdown of exactly what the fuck they spent all their metaverse money on

I suspect a good chunk is paying enormous piles of cash to lure very smart people to work on a boondoggle for years on end
How do you even spend 77 billion? That’s the GDP of a small nation state. Even with phenomenal amounts of graft and corruption, how do you even manage it?
