Witch baby with robot brain, middle aged heart, gigantic book collection, and plenty of 'tude. Trans flag emoji goes here.
This is fucked. I know it’s cool to hate on Sally Rooney but hot take: she’s very talented and I have liked all of her books. The fact that she’s a leftist writer who writes leftist characters is a strength of hers IMHO. Her being censored is appalling. Read her books while you still can.
This is madness.

All books by Normal People and Conversations with Friends author Sally Rooney set to be withdrawn from sale.

The 34-year-old Irish author says: “The disappearance of my work from bookshops would mark a truly extreme incursion by the state into the realm of artistic expression.”
Sally Rooney books may be withdrawn from UK sale over Palestine Action ban, court told
Rooney has said she intended to use royalties from her work "to go on supporting Palestine Action."

I talk about this regularly but one of the most fascinating things about watching police bodycam videos is the inevitable moment when the person getting arrested has to take a moment and tell the cops how much they respect them, and how they back the blue, etc… cops have cucked this entire country.

This makes me want to boycott them MORE. What a gross thing to do to the lowest-income earners in your entire corporate structure. SMILE? Fuck you!
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

If I never get to write my Let Us Now Praise Famous Men, this will hold the place for where it would have been.
It's the basis for the shows I'll be doing in the EU starting next week.
