Regular White people are learning how special they aren’t

(And never were TBH)

White people still believe that regular white people and WEALTHY/powerful white people are created equal. We been trying to tell them, they ain’t.

Again, Republicans control the entire government. They don’t have to shut down the government. They’re choosing to.

So when this all goes completely to shit no one can credibly blame Democrats for it.

Out of Mike Johnson’s own mouth all credit goes to Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

The founders never planned for a future where the checks and balances that exist in our constitution would simply be hand waved away by one party that controls everything.

Seems we always can find a rule, statue, procedure or law to “reel in” black folk, and history bears this as fact. Where are ANY OF THESE, to reel in a man hell bent on revenge and destruction of America as we know it?

Trump and Noem just defunded the police in NYC.

Department of Homeland Security is cutting over $187 million or 86% of homeland security funding to New York State which will radically defund NYPD, FDNY, and NY State Police terrorism programs, according to a letter from New York Governor Kathy Hochul to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

This snickering chud handed all the power to Trump to do whatever the hell he wants a long time ago. He gleefully surrendered and ended the authorities of his co-equal branch.

Why when the voters didn’t fight hard to keep Trump from a second term and Republicans from controlling both chambers of Congress?

The voters didn’t fight hard enough so take it up with them.

I don’t want her to lead the resistance.

I want her to do whatever she needs to do, but I would have liked to see her order an independent audit for the election and fight a little harder rather than believe he won legitimately and didn’t cheat…

But they’re perplexed when the majority of us say we’ve checked out. Black folks up to and including Kamala Harris busted our asses to stop this shit and they took it as a joke.

Now they want us to lead their goofy ass “resistance”

They can go to hell right along with MAGA.

I'm so sick of the arm chair quarterbacking from these people. They don't wanna do the work during election season for any black politician but then constantly and I mean constantly want us to fight for them and inspire them and make them feel better when they inevitably get fucked.

all of this is happening because some stupid, lazy, and selfish people refused to vote for Kamala Harris.

Trump and the Republicans are tanking the economy.
atrupar.com
CNBC: "Very disappointing. It's a weak number. This is private sector jobs for September. The total comes in -32,000. And that was a surprise because economists were looking for an increase of 51,000. Also, the revision was not good. August now showing -3,000 compared to the initial read of 54,000"

Until people stop trying to deflect from the truth that White voters are the weakest link that fuck this country every time we are not remotely ready to fix anything. And that’s whatever with me now. But Black people up to including Kamala Harris are done being mules.
eurobeatsme.bsky.social
She certainly can do whatever she wants, though you and I both know she's not just any old "private" citizen. And relegating the issue to just "white voters" isn't even statistically accurate anymore..

But it was racist and sexist. If a straight white male in his 50s had the exact same platform Harris did that person probably wins without all of internal and external bullshit Harris had to deal with.

Again, until we get real….
eurobeatsme.bsky.social
My reasoning for mentioning that its not "just white voters" is not to diminish the very real systemic racism inherent to conservatives but that to dismiss the loss as purely racist or even sexist is short sighted and helps no one.

So basically you’re pissed off that a private citizen (thanks to the stupidest subsection of the voting public…white people) is making money. She’s not a being a mule to make you feel better.

Good lord you sound ridiculous.
eurobeatsme.bsky.social
Shes a public figure currently going on a book tour that details her public presidential bid. People are going to be critical especially when she lost. Saying shes some innocent cinnamon roll that just wants her privacy when she purposefully put herself out there for financial gain sounds ridiculous

And now look…..

Fuck you Mayo Nation.

* Meat: 5.4%

I feel like now is as good a time as ever to say that people on social media & in the news spent infinitely more time on Neera Tandem's nomination for OMB (2021) than they ever did for Russell Vought (2025). This difference, which is a pretty clear comparison, should tell us something.

A snap primary would’ve made things infinitely worse.
hadriansgaul.bsky.social
Dems could have *better empowered* voters by calling a snap primary when Biden dropped out.

That was objectively undemocratic to run a candidate no one had voted for.

Kamala herself could have made this decision and it might’ve handed her the presidency. Voters ❤️ integrity and courage.

2024 should've been the simplest choice we've ever had in any election, but as usual, the people who helped put Trump in office again voted against their interests or refused to vote because they'd rather suffer under a white supremacist man's administration than prosper under a Black woman's.

I've worked on delegate and party rules matters for multiple presidential campaigns over the past 40 years. There was no legal way to hold a "snap primary." There would have been a barrage of lawsuits from the already-elected delegates had such a thing been attempted. The scheme was wildly illegal.

These posts from @andr3wsky.bsky.social on threads (I checked to see if he also posted here but he didn't) were actually hard to read, because Black folks have said this *so* often and been argued *down* about it, reading someone say it as a 💡 feels damn near insulting. But maybe ppl will listen
"As a white leftist, I need you all to know that for a good number of white leftists, the idea of suffering is purely academic. They know, even if they don’t acknowledge it, that their privilege insulates them from harm. This allows them to treat the suffering of others like a thought experiment.

Why are they so obsessed with finding the “perfect candidate”? Simply because they can be. They will not be the ones to suffer if an imperfect one loses. So whether *others suffer becomes a game to them"

Because Bernie does not have enough political clout to sway enough members of Congress. Although he does remain popular with voters.
