My brothers cats - Ash and Willow… Ash has the better temperament but isn’t even remotely affectionate whereas Willow is the friendlier one but gets grumpy and scratchy very quickly 😂

Might be worth contacting a rail historian to see if they can give you the background on the story, but contacting a museum with the slides is a very good idea as it helps to preserve history

Nice! There’s a small number that went straight into preservation in the UK but many were rescued from scrapyard condition.

Oh wow, that’s pretty cool - of the locos I posted yesterday, 60007 is the only mainline certified loco now, though 41312 was mainline back in the 1990s but isn’t anymore. The other three I don’t think have run mainline since their retirement from active service.
