As someone who completely missed Coroner the first time around I gotta say the new album is good as hell. If you told me it was a brand new band I'd believe you. Feels fun and fresh.

On the black metal front I've checked out the new albums by ORM and Yellow Eyes today, both of which I enjoyed a whole lot. Been waiting for the new Yellow Eyes so I was beyond stoked with the surprise drop. Never heard of Orm before but this album was good enough I'm gonna check out some more

Really enjoying the new Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo collab. Not quite what I was expecting, very mellow and melancholy. It definitely ends up working, think this one is gonna stick around for a bit

It's kind of insane that for a band that's been going as long as Sigh that their most recent full length might be the best place to jump into their discography. Like I refuse to declare anything "best" unless under duress but it is an absolutely stellar entry point that worked for me
