#uglydogs, not sure how well your can see, but these two visitors are with me for a month while mom gets sober. Kennel fees for the place the program arranged ate 1200 a month. This is a real barrier for people trying to get help.

#uglydogs. Friends went out to.protest this weekend... costumes, pastries and all. It rained, hard. I had out of town plans. But I am partaking in the Portland spirit.

#uglydogs this whole house is bored. Doggo wanna fetch, but alas, it is raining. I'm not applying for jobs until later today. I already cleaned the whole garage. Today, I witnessed peanut take the stairs awkwardly. It's time for joint supplements. Suggestions?

#uglydogs i am failing this "take two days for yourself and relax" thing. I put on too much makeup in am attempt to look perky and now I've wiped it off and am going to lap swim.

#uglydogs the contract has ended. I am taking two days to relax and focus on community, then starting again on Monday to look for my next gig. Im also thinking about going back to school to finish my graduate degree in psychology.

#uglydogs, Butters is back at emergency vet. His skin split open but not bear the stitches. He has an infection even though I gave him all the antibiotics. The vet is not reassuring. We've been here an hour and she just came in. Glad she's happy but I'm so upset. Ugly sobs are a few minutes away.

#uglydogs... the fosters went to a new home yesterday. But I picked up a dog from a couple that are both dying of cancer. This is a private rescue, and I'll need your help. Eventually, this dog named cooper is going to need a private adoption.

#uglydogs Butters have us quite a scare. He has so far today, taken meds, eaten food, taken himself off the deck to poo, and peed in the house three times... he's so veto thirsty, but I think it's the pain meds. Currently asleep in the hallway.

Butters is at the vet getting checked out as he has a slight fever and no appetite. He is sleepy from his medications. But they do keep the pain at bay. #uglydogs
