Now that the budget is done, can we get back to checking on Nigel Farage and who paid for his house?

Also, can we get on with investigating Reform members' association with Russia?

We now have an unprecedented level of income & wealth inequality.

It isn’t acceptable that the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 93%, while a majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

We must stand together & create an economy that works for all, not just the few.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

Finally!!!!!
👏🏽"We must all now confront the reality that the Brexit deal significantly hurt our economy. We have to keep reducing frictions. We have to keep moving towards a closer relationship with the EU. And we have to be grown up about it. To accept that it will require trade-offs."👏🏽

Music to my ears. ~AA

Our economic woes are caused by Brexit, (Ukraine), Covid, Brexit’s ugly baby - our dismal immigration policy, Truss budget, 14yrs of austerity…
All rightwing policies.
Quite mad that our media acts as if Labour’s budget is the end of days, when they failed to adequately scrutinise any of
that👆shit.

Kompromat Reform-style?
Have they learn about this from their sponsor Putin?
Oh wow, that's awkward. #Gullis

This government (I blush to call them 'Labour') is too weak to take any such dramatic step so we are destined, for several more years, to be in the economic wilderness 😠

The real scandal is the scale of Russian interference in British politics, apparently unseen by r/wing MSM.
Independent media coverage needs help from the public
We're all paying, suffering unnecessarily as a result of damage caused in Europe, and to UK economy trash by Brexit.

I must have missed the wall-to-wall coverage of demands for an investigation into Nigel Farage's lies about being a racist

Or about whether he knew Nathan Gill

Or about who bought his house in Frinton

I noticed this. In between the premium stories, the sponsored links and Deals, there is very little journalism in the paper. And what there is appears to be extremely biased towards the right / Russia.
That's the Lebedev connection for you
When I was young, the Independent was the best designed newspaper on the stands. This is what it looks like now: a par of text sandwiched between two ads, an auto-play video and a pointless and intrusive swipe function. It's as if it hates the work of its own writers.

Women’s bodies are the new battleground as Nigel Farage aligns with the US hard-right. His link to the group that toppled Roe v. Wade puts UK reproductive freedom at serious risk, writes columnist…

Today the #independent newspaper is bleating about “why are the pensioners a special case” when they should be asking “why are millionaires a special case”

Abortion rights
Hate crime legislation

Resistance to Russian aggression
If ReformUK get into government next time then we can kiss goodbye to:

Workers Rights

Unions

NHS & healthcare

Social care

Minimum wage

Among many other things.

Incompetence will save us from full blown autocracy… probably

"Somebody's party but not for the most of you"...
Catchy but guaranteed voter-free...
Waiting on tenterhooks to hear what Your Party has decided to call itself.

All the options are bad apart from For The Many, but that doesn't feel like any kind of guarantee that they won't end up calling themselves Our Party instead. 😑
