I'm gonna photograph the hat with this pompom, and a smaller one, as pattern options. Then I'll give the templates for both options in the pattern so people can decide based on how much yarn they want to eat up.

I'm the same.
I usually design without a pompom because with all the rain here, a pompom turns into a soggy gerbil on your head when you step outrside.

But, wearing this around the house today? I am SO much warmer with all that insulation up there. So, maybe I'm a convert to indoor bobble hats?

Oh, I highly recommend you keep doing whatever is zinging your brain! That's the best way to have it, I think.

Mosaic crochet is incredible fun, and feeds 'the flow' really well.

As to the shorter hook? I design ALL my Tunisian patterns with a short hook. I can't stand using the long ones. :) 🧶

It's a combo of Tunisian Crochet and traditional crochet, though, in a two-row repeat that's quite easy to memorise.

I'm taking advantage of its lovely ribbed texture and making a squishy, cozy hat pattern out of it. 🧶

One would hope that's the case, but I've seen quite a few 🧶knitting and crochet people I follow post and appear on the feed well after me, and when I scroll back, I'm not there at all.
