Even if an idea fails the Lego Ideas program, you could still make your own personal collection. Bricklink provides a program to create sets digitally, and you can then purchase Lego pieces from their site to build it yourself. You could even sell the instructions!

The first word I learned to read and spell was aqueduct. When I first learned to read and write, I kept it a secret from my parents for months. I don't understand why I did it.

Writing a world that has specifically "evolved without Christianity", has lead to others wanting to contribute with concepts and ideologies that they don't realize are inherently Christian. Such as current representations of demons, angels, gods, and society.

If you are one of the rare few Christians in this world who actually follows the word of Christ and cares for their fellow human being, there is a place for you in my story, and it isn't The Hand of Light. You do get a home in Apothecaria with everyone else.

I have actually had former friends send me death threats over this, despite me acknowledging that there are a rare few Christians out there that are genuinely good. They are so offended at the idea of someone using their own history in a truthful manner, even fictionally, that they become murderous.

I definitely have to set up a section for Trains of Apothecaria.

They run on arcane batteries that heat up steam engines in the locomotive.

Credit to @heroforgeminis.bsky.social for their program. In order for me to change cards I had to cancel my subscription and re-subscribe. I bit finnicky but everything is good now.

Wi-Fi that you don't need to be near the coffee shop to connect to. Technomancers can just do that in Apothecaria.

Lastly, albeit I say this often, character creation is first conceptualized through the use of Hero Forge, a modeling program for Tabletop miniatures. @heroforgeminis.bsky.social

🎭For aesthetics, there are way too many sources to count. I love to look at all varieties of culture and spirituality to find what I'm looking for in Apothecaria.

I will say, however, a recent find for me has been @presentcorrect.bsky.social. Definitely worth checking out.

🔮Magic in Apothecaria actually takes inspiration from real life Engineering, Electrical, and Coding work. It is not 1:1 though, and I feel like explaining the system in its entirety takes away the whole point of magic. However, this should make it easier for other creators to understand.

🧙For people, Apothecaria takes notes from Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder. Additionally, some elements I take from real world mythology instead. Such as changing orcs to more positively represent Mongolian culture as noble Dragon Turtle folk.

📚For books, I use an eclectic mix of classic literature. Elements of Lewis Carrol and Frank Baum are present. Additionally, there's pieces of Tolkien, Shakespeare, and Homer.

What this means is you should see a spike in posts relating to updates on the Worldbuilding Guide, as that content can come out faster. In exchange, there won't be anymore writing prompt participation.
