I agree, but living as the beneficiaries of violence means we cannot understand what it’s like for those who suffer b/c of it. Sometimes violence against your oppressor is the only way to save your family from suffering or death. I don’t think we should judge people forced to make that choice.

I was able to talk with Kodansha representatives about the possibility of Chihayafuru in print.
