Rounding off the session was Sophie Crocker, ARB, EDAC, WELL AP from White Arkitekter who presented the Gascoigne estate in Barking, East London as she talked about creating a just space for people. "From the age of eight and upwards, 80% of public spaces are used by boys and men."

Thomas Bennett from Studio Bark spoke next, reminding us that the U.K. has lost 60% of its wildlife population since 1970. "We learn a lot about nature by being in nature," he said adding how Studio Bark is making space for (and with) nature with new forms of countryside development.

Anna was followed by Julia Barfield who made the case for being a good ancestor: "It’s really about trying to persuade clients to not just think about their buildings as an asset with regard to its area per square metre, but also as an asset with regard to its materials."
