Yes it’s tied to the employer but if the other employer wants the person enough they can just get it transferred over. So it’s more a matter of will and whether the person is worth it to the company.

To be honest, I think my Rey and Ben have long past the point when the interview would really be an issue. They are going to regular dates, they know each other friends, they know each other’s family and work situation, they live together. Their issues are more in their head than anything.

Because it’s popular? Imo, I think as long as it’s AU enough fanfics should be able to publish without legal issues. I mean you shouldn’t be able to trademark a vibe or a trope, if you know what I mean.

Probably just what I originally wrote wasn’t forwarding the emotional arc I wanted them to have in this story. After this chapter there will only be like 5-6 more main chapters left. So I can’t waste any chapters with story progress without emotional progress.

Also, there’s always a theme of over coming prejudice against non aristocrats in Dramone. Vs with reylo you don’t have that Ben has no issue with Rey being a nobody.

In some ways you can think of Ben coming from new money vs Draco coming from old money. This difference makes it so Draco is much more smooth and much more comfortable with his position of power than Ben in fanfic a lot of times.
